e-volutionS (originally named
L.A.K.E. E-volutions) is an Independent and
Apolitical Not-for- Profit organization founded in the
Rome area on July 2003 under the following universal
principles: Sustainable and Human Development, Peace,
and respect of Human Rights.
Mission and Scopes
e-volutionS' Mission is to improve the Quality
of Life in general by promoting, informing, consulting
and realizing projects and services on issues such as
Sustainable, Human and Social Development and Social
Responsibility.
The Organization dedicates particular attention to vulnerable
groups and disadvantaged and areas in order for them
to widen their resources, abilities and knowledge through
capacity building, empowerment and community-based approach.
However, e-volutionS believes that the principles
supported by it are essential also at the local and
national level, being responsibility of all actors in
Society.
Therefore, e-volutionS embraces the concept of
social responsibility and understands the importance
of a full collaboration and involvement of all stakeholders.
Furthermore, the Organization supports the concept of
glocalization according to which one ought to act locally
by thinking globally.
Sectors
The Organization works on Interdisciplinary and often
Interdependent Sectors such as: Human, Social and Sustainable
Development, Women's and Children's Development/Rights
(including Early Child Development, ECD), Environmental
Protection, International Development, Access to Health
and Treatment in Developing Countries, Poverty Reduction,
Social Communication, Social Responsibility (including
Corporate Social Responsibility or CSR, Socially Responsible
Investment, Corporate Governance, and Corporate Citizenship),
Global Citizenship, Intercultural Programs, Sustainable
Tourism and Commerce, Education (including continuing
Education and Distance Learning), and Peace and Conflict
Resolution.
e-volutionS is aware of the relevance of the
Network and beside promoting it's own initiatives, it
collaborates with other national and international organizations/realities
by exchanging information and cooperating in projects.

Consulting and Information
Social Responsibility
e-volutions offers Consulting and Information
services to Non-Profit Organizations, Institutional
Investors, Corporations, Public and Private Bodies on:
Corporate Social Responsibility, Socially Responsible
Investment and Corporate Governance.
Services also include Guidelines Development on social,
environmental, labor, security, health issues related
to Socially Responsible Investment and Corporate Social
Responsibility.
The Organization is studying a new collaboration agreement
with the Investor Responsibility Research Center,IRRC,
which provides products and services on Social Responsibility
since 1972 and which has recently chosen to go bacK
to its non-profit nature.

Sustainable and Social Development
e-volutionS offers consulting and information
to non-profit organizations and private and public bodies
on Project Design and Implementation on international,
sustainable, human and social development issues in
developing and other countries.
